DouDouDoujin Community Guidelines DouDouDoujin is a creative community where works grow through the power of fans. We aim to create a place where fans around the world can proudly engage in doujin activities (creative activities). We value maintaining a space where creators from different fields can collaborate, nurture wonderful works together, and participate with mutual respect and peace of mind. These Guidelines set out the basic principles for protecting the safety, soundness, and creativity of the community. All users are expected to understand the spirit of these Guidelines and cooperate in building a better community. Article 1. Language These Guidelines and any individual rules, etc. shall be governed by the Japanese version as the controlling text. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the Japanese version and any version in another language, the Japanese version shall prevail. Article 2. General Rules Applicable to the Service as a Whole In using the Service, users shall comply with the following: 1. Use the Service with consideration for others DouDouDoujin is a community for enjoying and nurturing works, and is not a place for attacking or harassing others. Users shall respect other users, Contributors, and other related persons, and shall endeavor to maintain an environment in which everyone can participate safely and comfortably. 2. Do not engage in spam, fraud, or other improper conduct Users shall not engage in conduct that confuses or disrupts other members, including spam, fraudulent conduct, or any similar acts. The same shall apply to acts that manipulate views, ratings, reactions, rankings, or any other community metrics by improper means. 3. Respect privacy Users shall respect the personal information, private information, and other privacy-related information of others, and shall not post, share, or disclose such information without the person’s permission. The same shall apply to intimate images, videos, private communications, and other information relating to a person’s private life. 4. Do not impersonate others or engage in misleading conduct Use of a real name is not required to participate in the Service. However, users shall not impersonate other users, Contributors, operating staff, or any other third party, or otherwise engage in conduct that may mislead others. 5. Do not post illegal content or engage in nuisance solicitations, etc. Users shall not post illegal content, engage in fraudulent solicitations, nuisance commercial activities, direct others to harmful external websites or services, or otherwise engage in conduct that harms the sound operation of the community. 6. Use the reporting function appropriately The reporting function shall be used appropriately in cases involving violations of laws or regulations, infringement of rights, harassment, or other rule violations, and shall not be used merely on the basis of personal preference or dissatisfaction with the quality of a work. If misuse of the reporting function is confirmed, the Company may impose usage restrictions or take other necessary measures. 7. Do not interfere with the operation of the Service Users shall not engage in unauthorized access, excessive transmission of load, exploitation of vulnerabilities, or any other conduct that interferes with the operation of the Service. Article 3. Regarding the Posting of Derivative Works 1. Where a user posts a Derivative Work based on a work made available on the Service, the user shall comply with the Terms of Service, any Individual Use Conditions, and any other displayed content that the Company separately and expressly recognizes as binding. The user shall review the Work-Specific Action Approved List and any Supplemental Comments as reference information and give them due respect. 2. Users shall not use works without authorization or engage in any conduct that infringes the copyrights or any other rights of third parties. 3. The file formats, size limits, and other technical specifications for posting shall be governed by the help pages, on-screen posting instructions, and any other methods separately designated by the Company. 4. The technical specifications described in the preceding paragraph may be changed for service improvements or other reasons. Article 4. Responses to Violations of the Guidelines In order to maintain the safety and soundness of the community, if the Company reasonably determines that a user has violated these Guidelines or is likely to do so, the Company may take such action as it deems necessary, including issuing warnings, hiding or deleting posts, restricting functions, temporarily suspending an account, deleting an account, or taking any other appropriate measures. Article 5. Claims Regarding Copyright or Other Rights Infringement If a user wishes to make a claim regarding infringement of copyright or any other rights, the user shall contact the Company through the DouDouDoujin inquiry form. The Company shall respond as necessary in accordance with the Terms of Service and any other rules separately established by the Company.
